Undergraduate Internship Placements

About the programme

Fivium offers two IT placements based in Covent Garden, London, starting in June/July each year for a duration of 12 months - designed to give you as much exposure as possible to our business and customers. It’s a fantastic opportunity to work on some of our high profile projects – giving you the head start you need for your career.

Successful candidates will need to be highly motivated programmers. Full in-house training and external courses will be given and you will work alongside highly experienced IT professionals. The role is challenging and demanding and very 'hands on'. You will be expected to learn quickly, to apply your training effectively and add-value to your work.

Salary

We offer a salary starting at £21,800 p.a., 23 days annual leave and the opportunity to gain Oracle Certified Associate status.

You'll get to work with our multi-talented team delivering innovative IT solutions to our customers. Our team is dedicated towards helping you make the most of your potential. As well as extensive training, you'll also have access to a wide range of resources with the support of your manager.

Minimum requirements

Before applying, it's important to make sure that you meet the minimum requirements of the placement. To join the IT one-year placement programme you will need:

  • To be an undergraduate eligible for an industrial placement in 2012-2013
  • A minimum (predicted) 2:1 honours degree in Computer Science or equivalent IT-related discipline
  • Legal entitlement to work in the UK at all times during your employment
